Edgewood PrePrimary Academy has a 65 year history of local teaching.  We proudly offer education for children, aged 2½ through kindergarten.

Each child comes to us with a natural curiosity and love for learning.
We believe it is our responsibility to nurture this curiosity and help this love grow. Children will realize their greatest potential after they have experienced frequent success in a warm loving and positive environment. In our classrooms and outdoor spaces, children can achieve optimal growth in all areas of the curriculum with one teacher and no more than 12 students in a completely separate classroom designed to enhance each child’s opportunities for growth. The individual teacher remains the single most important factor. Our teachers are full-time professionals. They are trained, experienced and credentialed in early childhood education. Edgewood teachers are always available to their parents and use many recourses to communicate with their students’ parents. Classroom teacher conferences with parents are held three times throughout the year to ensure that all areas of social, emotional and academic development are progressing and continued to be challenged.
